It's time for another fabulous giveaway!
The lovely store Ruemiraldi has kindly given me two brooches to give away to two lucky readers. Check out their ebay store for other beautiful vintage accessories.
As delicious as these brooches are, they are not actually edible so do not attempt to eat them.
As you may know I am a massive fan of brooches. They are the perfect accessory to a vintage garment, or to jazz up a casual outfit, as pictured here on my blazer.
Here are the details:
Two winners will receive one of the two lovely brooches
To WIN one of the two brooches simply comment on this post.
All people who leave a comment will be put into a hat (well your names will be any way - it’s logistically impossible to fit actual people into the hat) and two lucky people will be announced the winners.
Entries are open to everyone from anywhere in the world.
Entries close on November 2nd, 2012 Australian EST
Two random winners will announced in a blog post on November 4th, 2012.
I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and as you can see from the photos, I have a belly that could knock down walls.
Even though I haven't been blog posting as much as before my pregnancy, I can tell you I have been busy sewing away. I have a few projects I'll be sharing with you soon, and a couple of tutorials too so stay tuned!
Here's a little picture to leave you with which I'm sure most of you can relate to ...
You look lovely! Count me in for a brooch. Is it a bad thing that my 3 year old son knows the word brooch? Fashion designer in the making!
ReplyDeleteNothing quite like a pretty brooch to put the icing on the cake! You certainly have a nice pregnancy glow!

Oooooh yes please put me in the hat!
ReplyDeleteI get so excited when i see a new post from u. Looking forward to ur posts on some projects :) x
Well since I can't have a baby, I'll settle for the name in the hat for a brooch. Mind you with 13 nieces and nephews and another on the way, I don't think I need to have a baby. The great thing about being an aunty, is that all the girls think you're awesome because you can make 'princess dresses' and should I ever feel clucky, I select a random child, take it out for a day of sugar and fun and then send a stained and hypo child back to the parents for clean up! PLUS! No nursery means I have a sewing room and a fabric storage room! And money to buy fabric. *stands up* "Hello, my name is Ree and I am a fabricaholic... My addiction has made me do terrible things, like take back food to the supermarket for a refund, just so I can get some of that sweet, sweet yardage...."
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to your tutorials. You are looking lovely by the way. Please count me in for the givaway (trumbelinasews.blogspot.com).
ReplyDeleteYou're looking really healthy with your bump - hope you're enjoying your pregnancy! Can you please count me in the draw too?
ReplyDeleteI've managed to resist fabric for ooh at least 10 days? now but patterns seem to be becoming a problem for me... at least they take up less space!
me please! i love the pearl one!
ReplyDeleteyou look fantastic - you definitely have that healthy pregnancy glow!
Congratulations! You look beautiful! And those are beautiful brooches, also :)

That bouquet one is to die for! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh drat, I've missed the deadline by half an hour.
ReplyDeleteI had lunch with Ruemiraldi yesterday and she told me that I must enter the giveaway. This is despite the fact that the reason for our meeting yesterday was for her to deliver me not less than 3 brooches and one necklace I'd bought from her this week.
I met Ruemiraldi and her equally amazing daughter Luce some months ago, at the Fabric Cave in Sydney. We actually split a large piece of fabric between the 3 of us.
Apart from being an amazing person (and JB she is ultra-fond of you!!), she has some gorgeous things in her store. She was telling me about a couple of upcoming pieces so to those commenters who miss out on JB's giveaway, get on in there and make sure your bids are good so I don't swoop you at the end!
